In general, I appreciate all forms of music. However, there is one genre that I am especially fond of: opera. I should probably qualify that by saying I like German opera, as if you couldn't tell from the bias demonstrated by the following recordings. Below are a few recommended recordings. Yes, there are a few repeat titles, but each recording is unique; different singers, different interpretations.
