About me
I am a third year Ph.D student in philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am also an adjunct instructor at Santa Barbara City College where I have taught philosophy courses for the past four years. I have been married since 2 August 2008 to Katherine Tompkins, who graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 with a degree in journalism and a degree in communication studies. We met working with a non-profit organization in Juarez, Mexico. We've been together since July 2005.
