Programming : SeamountLocator

When I worked for the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD this past summer, I wrote a Java search applet that helped locate seamount data stored in Anthony Koppers's Seamount Catalogue. This is where I really realized the power of Java. It gets a lot of bad rap, some of which is deserved (it's not fast), some of which isn't (it's generally bad). This applet will be coming online in the near future, for now, you're going to have to trust me.
