Dan Waber is a talented poet and multimedia artist whose works span from written poetry to online projects that encompass a new style of artistic and poetic creativity. This site is for the curious and open-minded; it is for those who can accept poetry to be more than a traditional printed text but see it in the intriguing style that Dan Waber continuously portrays. Dan Waber is a master in the art of "playing with words" and has taken it to another level that is unique and thought-provoking. Along with his poetry Waber has a series of ongoing projects that are posted online and are constantly added to and open to be shared with the world. I have picked a few of my favorites which I think display a wide range of Waber's work and clearly demonstrate how the meaning behind a poem does not have to be carried solely by the words themselves, but can be found in their shape, movement, color, and style. The path the reader chooses to take also contributes to the poems' meaning and Waber happens to base his works on this notion as well. To your left you will find seven links to seven different works created or contributed to by Dan Waber. All express a different message but each are created in a non-traditional way that consequently is the core of their meaning. Enjoy.
