Capsize- Hide-Float-Garnish are minimalist poems that use the physical form of the words to portray their literal meaning. Dan Waber creatively forms the words "capsize", "hide", "float", and "garnish" to represent their physical meaning. Although each poem consists of a single word, it is not to be underestimated as a poem. Waber relies on the imaginative presentation of the words to express their literal meaning. Once again, it is more than the word itself that Waber uses to convey meaning through his work.
