Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz is an exhibit of short poems by Dan Waber that contain guidelines such as words must start with each letter in the alphabet and each poem starts with the next letter in sequence. This pattern continued everyday starting with A on September 13, 2006 and ending with Z on October 8, 2006. This project is especially fascinating to me because even with all the restrictions Waber put upon himself, the poems he created are still tangeable and out of context would appear to be a "normal" poem. I see this in most of his work; Waber is able to create wonderful poems with strange guidelines that result in their overall genius. This is a challenge that anyone could take on, but Dan Waber is able to create meaningful poems under the restrictions that the order of the alphabet holds.
