George Fujii is a doctoral candidate in the department of history at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His general field is Cold War history/US foreign relations and his current advisor is Prof. Salim Yaqub.
His research interests currently center on post-Second World War economic policy, in particular the Marshall Plan (European Recovery Program) and its predecessors. His current project seeks to assess the domestic and international aspects of postwar economic and reconstruction policies in light of the North Atlantic Triangle (US, UK, and Canada).
He is currently the web editor and a reviews editor for the H-Diplo discussion list (http://www.h-net.org/~diplo), a member of H-Net: Humanities and Social Sciences Online.
