Historical
Materialism Research Group
University
of California, Santa Barbara
(HMRG-UCSB)
Welcome to UCSB-HMRG,
a research/reading group for students, faculty and others to discuss works of or with connection to historical
materialism. Two weeks prior to the research group meeting the
presenter will send out a paper/journal article/chapter (that is either in the
works or soon to be published) for participants to read and critique. The
exact meeting time/location will be specified then. During the meeting the
author/presenter will give a brief introduction of his/her work and then the
group can critically engage with/ debate the material which they have already
read. If you would like to be added to the list of participants for the UCSB-HMRG
or give a paper send an email to jhsprague[at]umail.ucsb.edu
