Other Sources Worth A Look
| Slow Motion by Third Eye Blind |
This is the full version of the song that plays throughout this site. This version includes all of the lyrics.
This version is particularly appropriate in that the melody is sonorous and beautiful, while the content is graphic and terrible. This is a "remediation" of the perspective of the creation that I wish to present. It is an expression of the duplicitous nature of the Creation/Monster - hideous yet innocent.

| Artistic Interpretation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde |
In reflection on this topic, I have found that both the story of Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and artistic renderings of the two titular characters are appropriate to my thesis. The pictures included here aptly reflect the duality of Frankenstein's Creation. While the Creation was not divided into bad and good, I find that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde demonstrate the inseparable nature of the two parts - in this case hideousness and innocence. |
