"Robot Stories" is a film directed by Gregory Pak about the different relationships between humans and technology. The movie is divided into four separate vignettes: "My Robot Baby", "The Robot Fixer", "Machine Love" and "Clay". In "My Robot Baby", a couple must raise a robot baby before they can adopt a human child. "The Robot Fixer" is about a mother who is finally able to understand her son through the completion of his elaborate robot toy collection. In "Machine Love", a robot learns how to be human by observing the interactions of his co workers. The film ends with "Clay" in which the main character struggles with his dependency on technology. For my website, I chose to focus on the stories "Robot Baby", "Machine Love" and "Clay". I decided not to include "The Robot Fixer" because I thought it did not support my argument as well as the other stories did. Also, by discussing the vignettes in this order creates a life cycle: it begins with a birth, the discovery of love and finding a partner, and ending with death.

In the film, the main characters find and define themselves through their relationships with technology. Even though technology is constantly changing and improving, human nature remains the same.
